Truth is, none of us know what's going on here.

I'm Tom Lewin, writer and author of Sunflowers at the End of Time. My work has been featured in the Cordite Poetry Review.

I've been fortunate to spend the better part of a decade traveling and working as an editor and writer, where I've had the privilege of sharing many unforgettable, surreal moments with people from vastly different cultures.

My overwhelming conclusion from these experiences is that we should form opinions about the world based on lived experience and intuition, and discard anything that encourages divisions or half-baked, armchair insights on the complexities of life.

Because ultimately, after all our colorful projections onto history's canvas, we remain clueless about life's greatest Mysteries—A humbling thought.
